Me at 125 lbs. before children circa 1999.
3.5 weeks after the birth of my daughter in 2012 at 151 lbs.
I am currently a lean, but muscular 128 lbs. and 19% body fat.

My weight loss journey (taken from my challenge journal)

March 28, 2013
I re-started my challenge at the beginning of march, as my daughter is now on solids and the soy no longer bothers her (I was nursing).

and my results?

february 24th: 141 lbs.
march 3rd: 136.5 lbs.
march 10th:
137 lbs.
march 17th: 134.5 lbs.
march 24th: 131.5 lbs.

my body seems to be hitting a stride of weight loss! let's just hope i can keep it up!! My goal is 120 lbs.

I'm still going strong! pairing the shakes with workouts and healthy food choices is truly yielding results; sometimes the loss of .5 to 1 lb. in a day!


april 1st: 135.5 (i cheated *big time* on easter and my son's birthday. doh!)
April 8th: 131.5
april 15th: 129.5 lbs.
april 22nd: 128 lbs.
april 26th (today):
126 lbs.!!
goal: 120 lbs. -- almost there!!!!!!!!!

after reassessing my fitness goals, i realize that i don't really need to lose more weight, but i want to lean down and tone up. so i began weight training. gaining muscle takes longer than losing fat, so it's a process. i am still taking the shakes.

currently, i am 125 lbs. and at the 21% body fat mark (down 4%!!!!!!). my *new* goal is to reach 18% body fat (and that may change once I see what 18% actually looks like on me!)

my 90 day challenge ends on june 1st, but i will be embarking on a new challenge to meet my body fat goals.
Visalus has changed the way i see health and fitness. you truly have nothing to lose.

i'm happy to say that i am still on the right track. i am currently a lean 128 lbs. (i've gained about 3-4 pounds of muscle) and around 19% body fat. yes, i teach zumba, but no amount of cardio can undue a bad diet. without the shakes to kickstart the change in my eating habits, i'm afraid i'd still be carrying around that baby weight.
i now use the shakes as recovery after my weight training and for between meal snacks as they are high in protein and i need a lot of it to continue building muscle and leaning out.

If you are serious about finally taking a stand against your unwanted pounds, this is the program for you. concentrate on 10 lbs. at a time. trust me -- been there, done that. my results speak for themselves.
